You’ve had the ability to choose your natural gas supplier for years, but your choice was limited to the specific offer you’d get in the mail, by phone or from a door to door rep.
If you saw an opportunity for a better rate, or a different kind of rate, you had to leave the supplier you were with and move your account to a different supplier. Depending on the terms of your agreement, you possibly had to pay an early termination fee to get out of your contract, which effectively reduces and sometimes eliminates the savings you could see with your new lower rate. We don’t think that’s the best way to give customers Choice. We’ve got a better idea.
