    As an active Vectren Source customer, you can use My Energy Café to switch to another rate or rate plan within Vectren Source without incurring any fees.
  2. What happens when I switch to a new rate through My Energy Café?
    Vectren Source will send you updated Terms and Conditions each time you choose a new rate or rate plan. If you choose another 12-month contract, your contract will extend for another 12 months.
  3. How often can I change my rate?
    You must be an active Vectren Source customer to change your rate. You can change rate only once per billing cycle because your rate must be current with your local utility before you are able to switch.
  4. Does switching my rate extend my contract?
    If you choose another 12-month contract, your contract will extend for another 12 months.
  5. When is My Energy Café available?
    My Energy Café is available online 24/7 at www.MyEnergyCafe.com
    You can also speak to a live Customer Care representative during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday at 1-866-306-8136.
  6. What are the benefits of My Energy Café?
    You can get a low rate today and switch to a lower rate if our rates drop later without switching suppliers. Or you can switch to other Vectren Source plans like our Seasonal Advantage, Fixed, Right Balance, Capped Variable, or Standard Monthly Variable whenever you feel those plans are a better fit for your family's needs.
  7. What happens if I see a rate plan through My Energy Café but it isn’t available to my area currently?
    If there is a rate plan that you’re interested in that we are not currently offering to your area, you can sign up for email alerts that will notify you as soon as it is available in your area.
  8. What else can My Energy Café do for me?
    My Energy Café is open to everyone! Prospective customers can use it to see the low rates we currently have, compare them to competitors rates and enroll online with just a couple of clicks.
    When you’re a flowing Vectren Source customer, My Energy Café really puts you in control with its special "Customer Only" features. You can see your usage over the past 12 months and review your account information. You’ll be able see your existing rate, and compare it to all of the Vectren Source rate options that are currently available and if you find one you like better, it’s easy to switch to it…risk free!
  9. I’m not ready to switch today, is there a way I can get regular updates on your current prices without having to visit My Energy Café each month?
    Absolutely, we have a program called Customer in Waiting which was designed specifically to keep prospective customers informed about our current offers and special rate plans. At the beginning of each month we send you an email with all the info about our rates and a personalized Customer in Waiting ID number that will identify you to our enrollment system when you decide to enroll with Vectren Source.
