The Vectren Source monthly variable rate is a rate that changes monthly and has no contract or cancellation fee. The fixed-rate plan is for a 12-month term and has an early termination fee of $25. This promotion is available to customers in the Atlanta Gas Light, Columbia Gas of Ohio, Dominion East Ohio, National Grid, National Fuel and Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio service territories who are not currently with Vectren Source and may not be combined with any other Vectren Source promotion. We are unable to offer a variable rate to NIPSCO customers. Vectren Source reserves the right to limit the availability of its price plans or change plans at any time. Your current supplier may require that you pay a cancellation fee if you terminate an existing contract with them.

Rewards +

To participate in the Vectren Source Rewards+ Program, you must be an active Vectren Source customer. Termination of your account with Vectren Source will result in the deactivation of your Rewards+ account and all unredeemed Rewards+ Dollars will be forfeited.

Variable Rate

In the event you choose a variable price option, your price per therm of natural gas may change from billing cycle to billing cycle depending on market conditions. While Vectren Source cannot predict the costs of natural gas in the future, many market conditions can impact the price of natural gas. These market conditions include wholesale costs, weather, interstate capacity charges and other economic factors. Vectren Source will change its price to you based on changing market conditions. The frequency of the price changes will be disclosed when you consider enrolling with Vectren Source. Again, the price quoted will not include state and local taxes or charges imposed by AGLC. You also will be responsible for a Customer Charge per billing cycle.

This promotion is available to 60+ customers on the Atlanta Gas Light distribution system who are not currently with Vectren Source and may not be combined with any other Vectren Source promotion. Vectren Source reserves the right to limit the availability of its price plans or change plans at any time. Your current supplier may require that you pay a cancellation fee if you terminate an existing contract with them.

 Friends Plus

The Vectren Source ("Sponsor") FRIENDS Plus Program allows you to encourage friends, family, and colleagues ("Friends") to sign up for Vectren Source natural gas service (the "Promotion"). By participating in the FRIENDS Plus Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Program Rules.
 
1. To make a referral in this FRIENDS Plus Program, you must be a person 18 years of age or older, a current Vectren Source natural gas customer and a legal resident of the United States.
 
2. Persons Who May Be Referred. You may only refer this Promotion to individuals with whom you have a personal or business relationship and whom you believe would like to receive the Promotion. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you may not submit for referral: i) existing Vectren Source natural gas customers, ii) natural gas customers in areas not served by Vectren Source, or iii) yourself.
 
3. Referrals. You may refer as many Friends as you would like. You may refer each Friend only once.
 
4. Program Termination. Vectren Source expressly reserves the right to change, alter, or amend the terms and conditions of the FRIENDS Plus Program, including termination of the Program, in its sole discretion at any time without notice to the participant.
 
5. Rewards Sent to You. For each successful referral you make, Sponsor will send you a $25 check ("The Reward") by mail if both of the following conditions are met:
  • The Friend you refer becomes a Vectren Source natural gas customer approved by the utility and is a new Vectren Source customer, and
  • You and your friend are active customers of Vectren Source Service after the date the friend you have referred signs up and their account becomes active.
Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, change the offer for this promotion, including the Reward(s), at any time. A Friend will only be deemed to have participated in the Promotion for the purposes of these Program Rules at the time that he or she signs up for Vectren Source natural gas service. There is no maximum limit to the number of Rewards you are entitled to receive. Vectren Source is required to issue a 1099 on payments of $600 or more for fees, commissions, or other forms of compensation made during the year to anyone who is not an employee of Vectren Source. If your FRIENDS Plus payments reach $600 within a calendar year, we will require your social security number for reporting purposes.
 
6. Remedies for Your Non-compliance. If Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that you have not complied with these Program Rules, it may, in addition to any other rights and remedies it may have against you, immediately and without notice to you, withdraw all benefits to you and your Friends under this FRIENDS Plus Program (including, but not limited to, canceling or declining to send any and all Rewards issued or to be issued to you in connection with this FRIENDS Plus Program.)
 
7. Information. You agree not to use any false email addresses, mailing addresses, or names for this FRIENDS Plus Program. Participant recognizes and agrees that the information provided will be made available only to Vectren Source; any such information will be governed by the Vectren Source Privacy Policy.
 
8. Your Representations and Warranties to Us. You represent and warrant to Sponsor that you have an existing business or personal relationship with each Friend you refer and that it is your genuine opinion that each Friend would wish to receive the Promotion from Sponsor. All information submitted during participation in the Program (email address, mailing address for payment) must be accurate. Participants who deal with the Vectren Source FRIENDS Plus Program on a fraudulent basis will forfeit all accrued awards. Vectren Source is not responsible for inaccurately self-reported data (email address, name, mailing address) that results in mis-routed checks.
 
9. Promotion Rules. Each Promotion issued under this FRIENDS Plus Program is issued subject to the Promotion terms and conditions. Cannot be combined with any other promotional offer.
 
10. Limitation of Liability for Sponsor. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED AT LAW, NEITHER SPONSOR NOR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES WILL BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PROGRAM. THIS IS A COMPREHENSIVE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY THAT APPLIES TO ALL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) COMPENSATORY, DIRECT, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOSS OF DATA, INCOME, OR PROFIT; LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY; AND CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTIES.
 
11. Entire Agreement. Entire Agreement. These Program Rules represent the entire agreement between you and Sponsor with respect to the FRIENDS Plus Program.
 
12. Variation of the Program Rules. These Program Rules may be amended or modified by Sponsor in its sole discretion at any time. Any such amendments will be posted to this page, and it is your responsibility to review this page from time to time for such amendments.
 
13. Personal Information. Sponsor may use third party service providers for any or all parts of administering this FRIENDS Plus Program. These third parties may use your personal information and the personal information of your Friends to administer this FRIENDS Plus Program. Sponsor and third parties may use aggregated data (data that can not be used to personally identify a user including name, email address, and postal address) for any purpose. Participant recognizes and agrees that the information provided by participant will be made available only to Vectren Source; any such information will be governed by the Vectren Source Privacy Policy.
 
14. Currency and Times. All amounts stated in these Program Rules are in U.S. dollars, and times and dates are based on Central Standard Time.
 
15. Severance. If any provision of these Program Rules is held to be invalid, such invalidity will not affect the remaining provisions.
 
16. Governing Law. These Program Rules will be interpreted, construed, and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. You hereby irrevocably consent and submit to the nonexclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts within the State of Indiana for the purposes of litigating any such action.
